VAT, done right
Most of this work qualifies for the reduced 13.5% VAT rate as a service on a property — but if the materials cost more than two-thirds of the ex-VAT price, the whole job flips to 23% (the "two-thirds rule"). Grafta handles VAT per line item so the invoice comes out right either way. If you subcontract under RCT, you'll still file through ROS — but Grafta keeps every invoice and payment recorded so the paperwork side is clean.
