Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Agreement

By creating a Grafta account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Grafta. Grafta is a product of Axial Design (a registered business name), provided by an independent sole trader based in Ireland.

The service

Grafta is a business management tool for tradespeople. It helps you manage jobs, create quotes and invoices, track expenses, and stay on top of compliance. We provide the software — you provide the business data.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure. Use a strong, unique password. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, change your password immediately and contact us.

Your data

You own your data. We don't claim any rights to the business information you enter into Grafta. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Acceptable use

Grafta is intended for genuine use by a tradesperson or trade business managing their own work. You agree not to:

  • Use Grafta to send spam, fraudulent or misleading invoices, phishing messages, or unsolicited marketing.
  • Impersonate another person, trade or business, or misrepresent your identity, VAT status or qualifications on invoices or quotes generated by Grafta.
  • Upload, store or transmit content that is illegal under Irish or EU law, or that infringes anyone else's intellectual property, privacy or safety.
  • Run automated or bulk activity that goes beyond normal single-user or single-team use (e.g., scripted mass invoice generation, scraping, load-testing).
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse reporting mechanisms, anti-spam checks, or any technical or access controls.
  • Use Grafta to access, interfere with, or try to access the data of other users or tenants.
  • Reverse-engineer or disassemble the service except to the extent permitted by mandatory Irish/EU law.

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these rules, without prior notice where we reasonably believe the breach is serious (e.g., fraud, phishing, illegal content, or active abuse of other users). Where reasonable, we'll try to tell you why.

Even if we terminate an account for abuse, we will still retain the anonymised financial records that Irish tax law requires us to keep (see the Privacy Policy for details).

Reporting abuse or security issues

To report abuse of Grafta (spam, fraudulent invoices, impersonation, illegal content), email abuse@grafta.ie. To report a security vulnerability, email security@grafta.ie.

Payments

Grafta offers a 14-day free trial and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page — you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. We don't offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.

Data Processing Addendum

If you use Grafta to process personal data about your own customers, you are the data controller and Grafta acts as your data processor under Article 28 GDPR. Our processor-level commitments are set out in the Privacy Policy, and a standalone Data Processing Addendum is available on request by emailing privacy@grafta.ie.

Availability

We aim to keep Grafta available at all times, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance. We'll try to give notice where possible.

Limitation of liability

Grafta is a tool to help you manage your business. It doesn't replace professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. We're not liable for business decisions you make based on information in the app. To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before any claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Ireland.

Contact

Questions about these terms? Email support@grafta.ie. Grafta is independently operated from Ireland by a sole trader; a postal address for formal correspondence is available on request by email.
